					<description>Let’s talk about the quality of marriage before and now.

I think the divorce rate is higher since people are finding an alternative to be happy.  If you look at marriages in the past, I don’t think the level of happiness was any better than today.  I think the woman was more imprisoned within a cultural and financial framework with no choice.

If people can fly using an airplane than driving a car, they will do so.  I believe divorce is an additional marriage choice people have now.

The traditional SL marriages are mostly based on a weak foundation like wealth, class, and lies than love and integrity and therefore bound to break at some point.</description>

					<description>When you talk about rates, you need to state it in you article. I find this a very general argument. Sri Lanka is a developing country and problems stated are quite general. I would like to see a comparison of divorce rates of sri lankans with other countries as you titile elutes into the subject</description>
