Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for curing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It can also be used for other conditions as directed by your physician.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as directed by your doctor. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with a meal. It may take two - three weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Anafranil with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, visit your doctor. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been ordered. Do not take less or more or take it more often than recommended by your doctor.
