Zyrtec is an antihistamine used to cure and relieve the symptoms of allergies and hives (urticaria). Some of the allergic symptoms that Zyrtec prevents are runny nose, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes.
How Taken
Zyrtec comes as a pill to take orally. The general dose is a pill per day. Zyrtec can be taken regularly or only when experiencing allergy symptoms. Follow your physician`s directions. Don't take less or exceed the dosage directed by your physician.

Take Zyrtec with caution. Don't drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms don't improve or if they worsen, call your doctor. This medicine should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than directed by your doctor.
