Drug Uses
Seroquel improves symptoms associated with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder by affecting certain brain receptors. Seroquel is proved to be effective for acute treatment of manic episodes in patients.
How Taken
Seroquel comes in tablets to be taken by mouth. Dose can vary from 25mg to 300mg and should be prescribed by your physician.
More Information
Seroquel can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects may worsen if Seroquel is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Take Seroquel with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you respond to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, visit your physician. Seroquel should be used only by the patient for whom it has been directed. Don't take less or more or take it more often than advised by your physician.
